Yes, I currently work with several insurance providers including Optum, Aetna, United Health, UMR, and Oscar. If you're covered by one of these plans, you may be eligible for therapy services with minimal out-of-pocket expenses.
For those who have insurance plans not listed here, or prefer to maintain privacy and flexibility in their therapy journey, I also offer private pay options. This means that you are responsible for paying each session in full at the time of your appointment.
Please note: If your insurance plan is not listed, you might still be eligible to utilize out-of-network benefits for reimbursement. I'm happy to provide you with a detailed invoice, which you can then submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. Feel free to reach out to your insurance plan's customer service line for further clarification on your out-of-network benefits.
Here are some questions you can ask when calling:
What are my out-of-network benefits for outpatient mental health?
What is my out-of-network deductible and has it been met already this year?
What is my out-of-network coinsurance after my deductible has been met?
How much is allowed for a therapy session? (Use service code 90834)
Do I need a referral to see someone out-of-network?
How do I submit claims for out-of-network reimbursement?

If I don’t accept your insurance, you may still be eligible for reimbursement from your insurance provider. Most insurance plans include some kind of coverage for out-of-network benefits, sometimes covering up to the full cost of your sessions. If you would like to seek reimbursement for our sessions, the first step would be calling your insurance provider to clarify what, if any, out of network coverage you have.
If you are eligible for reimbursement, you would still pay for sessions at the time of service, and then submit receipts to your insurance for reimbursement. I am then able to provide a monthly “SuperBill” (an itemized receipt listing all of your sessions for the month), which you would then submit to your insurance provider.
